Uncle Boysie

Uncle Boysie always had a smile. I rarely saw him in a bad mood. I have fond memories of going down to Uncle Boysie and Auntie Eleanor's house during the summer or on holidays. He was a hard-worker in his business, but more so for the Lord. My last conversation with Uncle Boysie was over the phone. He had been sick for some time and all he could think about was reaching more people to tell them about Jesus. He felt limited by his illness. I will never forget the urgency in his voice. It helped me to realize that I needed to be a better steward of my time in service to the Lord. That is a memory that I will always cherish. Alana Van Putten-Laguerre (Lani)
